Red Wine Jelly Recipe
Jellies have always been the kid's favorite and now here is a jelly recipe that is sure to win adult hearts! Yeah, this Red Wine Jelly is so deliciously made - I have used dry red wine, but you may even substitute it with white wine to make your own white wine jelly! So, make it and have them spread on your favorite crackers and just take the heavenly bite!
Ingredients
2 cups dry red wine
3 cups white sugar
1/2 bottle Certo
Directions
In a pot bring wine and sugar to a boil.
Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; stir in Certo.
Mix thoroughly.
Skim, with a metal spoon, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.
Pour into sterilized jelly jars.
Seal with hot paraffin.
White wine may be used to make a perfect white wine jelly.
They are a lovely addition when serving cheese and crackers.
