Red Top Salad Recipe
Red Top Salad - the name might sound funny, but when it comes to the taste it is yummy. This is a chill and serve salad and is pretty easy to prepare too. Check out the recipe of Red Top Salad.
Ingredients
1 pkg. strawberry gelatin
4 c. hot water
1 pkg. lemon gelatin
10 marshmallows
1 c. crushed pineapple
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. grated cheese
1/4 c. saladi dressing
1 c. whipped cream
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions
Dissolve strawberry gelatin in 2 cups hot water.
Pour into large mold.
Chill until firm.
Dissolve lemon gelatin and marshmallows in remaining hot water.
Cool.
Whip until frothy.
Add pineapple, celery and cheese.
Whip salad dressing into whipped cream; stir in nuts.
Add to marshmallow mixture.
Pour over firm strawberry layer.
Chill until firm.
Pour into large mold.
Chill until firm.
