Red Roast Pork Recipe

Ingredients
| Pork fillet | 1 Pound | |
| Hoi sin sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Five spice powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Soy sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Soft brown sugar | 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Ginger | 1 Teaspoon, finely chopped | |
| Peanut oil | ||
Directions
Trim the pork but leave it in one piece.
Mix together all the remaining ingredients except the oil and combine them thoroughly.
Place the meat in a dish, brush it with oil and then coat it in sauce.
Marinate the pork for 1-2 hours.
Spoon more oil over the pork, place on a rack in a roasting pan and roast in a hot oven (425°F/220°C, Mark 7) for 10 minutes.
Reduce the oven temperature to moderate (350°F/180°C, Mark 4) for 30-35 minutes.
Cut the fillet in slices diagonally and serve on a hot plate.
NOTE: Other cuts of pork may be roasted with this sauce.
