Ingredients

 
1 large sweet red pepper roasted peeled and seeded or 1/2 cup canned roasted red peppers
 
4 green onions sliced
 
1 clove garlic halved
 
2 tablespoons cooking oil
 
2 teaspoons Dijon-style mustard
 
1 teaspoon honey
 
3/4 cup snipped fresh basil or 1/4 teaspoon dried basil crushed
 
1/8 teaspoon salt, Dash black pepper

Directions

Coarsely chop red pepper; set aside.
In a skillet cook onions and garlic in oil till tender.
Remove from heat; cool slightly.
In blender container or food processor bowl combine red pepper, onion mixture, mustard, honey, basil, salt, and black pepper.
Cover; blend or process till smooth.
Serve warm over grilled fish, chicken, or pork.
Store, covered, in refrigerator up to 1 week
