Red-Cooked Duck Recipe
Try out this Red Cooked Duck with rice at your next meal ! As you pull off chunks of this delicious duck stewed with seasoning consisting of spices and soy sauce, and mouth them, you'll find them a wonderful treat you might have rarely tasted !
Ingredients
1 3 pound duck
2 slices ginger
1 stalk scallion
5 mushrooms, soaked
2 teaspoons sesame seed oil
3 teaspoons salt
3 teaspoons sherry
3 teaspoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons sugar half a saucepan water
Directions
Wash the duck and remove the tail and oil sacs and discard.
Place the duck in a saucepan with enough water to cover.
Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil.
Turn down the heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
Serve in a deep bowl with the gravy.
