1 pkg Bouquet Garni
1 cup (240 ml) full-bodied dry red wine
1 cup (240 ml) fruity extra-virgin olive oil
3 cloves minced or pressed garlic
1/2 tsp (3 ml) fresh ground black pepper
Directions
Remove herb leaves from stems and cut into small pieces; do not chop.
Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Store in a sealable container until needed.
Pour the marinade over chicken or meat 1 hour before needed, turning every 15 minutes.
Drain well and cook as desired, basting occasionally.
