Ingredients

 Oil1 Tablespoon
 Ground beef1 1/2 Pound
 Onions2 , diced
 Garlic2 Clove (5gm), crushed
 Sweet red pepper1 To taste, diced
 Carrot1 , diced
 Celery stalks2 , diced
 Tomatoes3 , cut into wedges
 Dry red wine1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Beef broth10 Ounce, canned
 1 tbsp beef broth concentrate
 Cornstarch1 Tablespoon
 Cold water3 Tablespoon
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

In a casserole dish, heat oil.
Lightly brown ground beef.
Remove from dish.
Set aside.
In beef cooking fat, saute onions, garlic, pepper, carrot and celery 3-4 minutes.
Fold in meat, tomatoes, red wine, beef broth and concentrate.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Simmer 30 minutes.
In a small bowl, dilute corn starch in cold water.
Pour over beef hash, mixing well.
Simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
