 Oil1 3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Eggs2
 Cocoa1 Teaspoon
 Red Food Color2 Ounce
 Cake flour2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Soda1 Teaspoon
 Buttermilk1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Butternut1 Teaspoon

Directions

Cream sugar and oil.
Add eggs and beat well.
Mix cocoa and food coloring together, then add to sugar mixture.
Sift flour, salt and soda.
Add alternately with buttermilk.
Add flavoring.
Bake in 3 (9-inch) round pans for 35 minutes at 350°.
