Red Pepper Jam Recipe
Ingredients
12 large red sweet peppers
1 1/4 tbsp. salt
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 pt. (2 c.) vinegar
Directions
1. Chop peppers fine, add salt, and let stand for 3 hours.
2. Add sugar and vinegar, and cook for 21/2 hours, until it has the consistency of jam.
3. Pour into sterilized jars, and cover with paraffin.
