Red Gram With Greens Recipe
Ingredients
| Split red gram 50 gm. | ||
| Greens | 200 Gram (For 4) | |
| Tamarind lime-sized ball | ||
| Green chillies | 2 (For 4) | |
| Salt | To Taste (For 4) | |
| Tempering | ||
| Black gram | 1/2 Teaspoon (For 4) | |
| Mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon (For 4) | |
| Red chillies | 2 (For 4) | |
| Fenugreek | 1/4 Teaspoon (For 4) | |
| Fat or oil 1 tbsp. | ||
| Asafoetida a pinch | ||
| Rice flour | 1 Teaspoon (For 4) | |
Directions
1. Cook red gram in water.
2. Chop greens and green chillies.
3. Extract tamarind juice.
4. Add the gram, greens and tamarind extract to the tempering along with salt and boil well.
