Red Clam Sauce And Linguine Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 , chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 6 1/2-oz. cans minced clams, drained | ||
| 1 6-oz. can Hunt's Tomato Paste | ||
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Rosemary | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground thyme | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 8 oz. linguine or spaghetti, cooked and drained | ||
Directions
Saute onion and garlic in oil in skillet.
Add clams and their juice, Hunt's Tomato Paste, water, lemon juice, parsley, sugar, rosemary and thyme.
Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes.
