Red Cabbage With Apples Recipe

| 2 tart red apples, sliced | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 1 medium head red cabbage, coarsely shredded | ||
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Red wine vinegar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Cook and stir apples in margarine in Dutch oven over medium heat 5 minutes.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer until cabbage is tender, 35 to 40 minutes.
