Red cabbage isn't always everyone's favorite, so healthy vegan recipes that bring some flavor to cabbage like this red cabbage recipe are a great way to get them eaten more often. Phil said he wasn't looking forward to eating this tonight, since cabbage can be boring, but he says it was awesome. He says you should try it! Cabbage is a cruciferous vegetable, which is the same family as broccoli and kale, and is loaded with antioxidants. This means that they can help protect against cancer and aging. Try purple or green cabbage for different nutrients.
