Red Cabbage And Apple Recipe
Ingredients
| Red cabbage | 1 1/4 Pound, sliced | |
| Shallots | 6 Ounce, cut in half | |
| 1 large clove garlic, chopped | ||
| Eating apples | 12 Ounce, sliced | |
| Seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cloves | 2 | |
| Sultanas | 1 Ounce | |
| Cider vinegar | 3 Fluid Ounce | |
| 3 floz (75ml) water | ||
| Apple Juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
1. Layer the cabbage, onion, garlic, apple, dill seeds, cloves and sultanas in a large casserole.
2. Mix together the cider vinegar, water and concentrated apple juice. Pour over the vegetables. Cover the casserole.
3. Bake in a preheated oven at Gas Mark 4,350°F, 180°C for 1 1/4 hours. Serve hot or cold.
