Ingredients

 1 lb. spicy smoked sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
 Red beans2 Can (10oz), drained
 1 green or yellow bell pepper, chopped
 1 jalapefio chile, seeded and finely chopped
 Diced tomatoes1 Can (10oz), peeled
 Red onion1 Small, chopped
 Rice1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked

Directions

MAKING
1.Take a heavy saucepan and cook sugar, salt, water and vinegar in it on medium flame.
2.Stir the ingredients continuously to form a smooth mixture.
3.Stop stirring for a while so that the sugar syrup forms into a 4-6 inch thread.
4.In a bowl, whisk egg whites until light and fluffy.
5.Add sugar syrup mixture to the eggs and keep whisking so that a thick and foamy mixture is formed.

SERVING
6.Use the frosting as cake topping.
