Red Apple Wine Punch Recipe
Ingredients
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon | 1 , thinly sliced | |
| Orange | 1 , thinly sliced | |
| Whole Cloves | 8 | |
| Cinnamon stick | 1 | |
| Orange juice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Apple Juice | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 cup Burgundy or claret wine | ||
Directions
Mix together sugar, water, lemon and orange slices, cloves and cinnamon.
Bring to a boil over low heat and simmer 5 minutes.
Add the orange and apple juices and reheat.
Add the wine and reheat but do not boil.
Strain and serve at once.
If you serve from a punch bowl, float the lemon and orange slices in the punch.
