Seasoned Turkey Recipe
Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds ground turkey
1 small onion, grated
1 egg
1/2 cup seasoned dried bread crumbs
Salt
4 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1 cup water
Directions
1. In large bowl, mix first 4 ingredients and 1 teaspoon salt; shape into 1-inch meatballs.
2. In 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, in hot butter or margarine, cook meatballs, a few at a time, until well browned; remove to bowl. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons drippings.
3. Into drippings in skillet, over medium heat, stir flour and 3/4 teaspoon salt; cook 1 minute. Gradually stir in milk and water; heat to boiling, stirring to loosen brown bits. Return meat balls to skillet; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes.
