Ray Kidd's Boiled Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients
| Water | 5 Quart | |
| Medium shrimp | 5 Pound, unpeeled | |
| Ground red pepper | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Powdered seafood boil - 1/3 cup | ||
| Creole seasoning | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Lemon | 1 | |
| Celery - 1 stalk , cut into 3-inch pieces | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ice cubes | ||
Directions
MAKING
1 In a large Dutch oven, bring water to a boil.
2 Add in the next 7 ingredients.
3 Return to a boil.
4 Remove from heat, and blend in salt.
5 Add ice cubes, just enough to stop the cooking process.
6 Allow to stand for 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
7 Drain well.
SERVING
8 Serve immediately.
