Ingredients

 1 cup rava or semolina
 Ghee1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Coconut1 Cup (16 tbs), finley grated
 Milk1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar2 Cup (16 tbs)
 A few drops essence of saffron
 Cardamoms1 Tablespoon, powdered
 10 each of almonds, pistachios and cashewnuts

Directions

Pound together all the nuts coarsely.
Put the rest of the ingredients together in a pan and cook stirring all the time till the mixture turns thick and leaves the sides of the vessel.
Mix in the essence and remove from fire, put in a greased thali, level the surface and sprinkle nuts on the top.
Cool thoroughly, cut into small squares and store in airtight container.
