Raspberry Sherbet Recipe

Ingredients
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup warm water
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 container frozen raspberries, thawed and pureed
2 egg whites
Directions
1. Set refrigerator control for fast freezing.
2. Dissolve the sugar in the water, stirring. Add the corn syrup, lemon juice and raspberry puree. Freeze until firm around the edges.
3. Beat the egg whites until stiff.
4. Turn the partially frozen mixture into a chilled bowl and whip until smooth but not melted. Quickly fold in the egg whites and freeze until firm.
