Raspberry Pear Crisp Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 cups frozen unsweetened raspberries | ||
| Granulated Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 4 cups sliced, peeled pears or apples | ||
| Orange juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Few drops almond extract | ||
| Packed brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Rolled oats | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4 cup chopped walnuts, pecans, or almonds | ||
Directions
Let frozen raspberries stand at room temperature 15 minutes.
Do not drain.
In a large bowl combine granulated sugar and the 1 tablespoon flour.
Stir in berries, pears, orange juice, and almond extract.
Transfer to a 2-quart rectangular baking dish.
In a medium bowl combine brown sugar, oats, and the 1/4 cup flour.
Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in nuts.
Sprinkle over fruit mixture.
