Raspberry Applesauce Recipe

Ingredients
6 medium-size tart apples, such as Granny Smith or greening, peeled, cored, and thickly sliced
1/3 cup apple juice or water
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
3 tablespoons seedless raspberry jam
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
1 In a medium-size saucepan, bring the apples, apple juice, cinnamon, and cloves to a simmer over moderately low heat.
Cook, covered, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes or until tender.
Break apart any large chunks of apple with a spoon.
Stir in the jam, honey, and lemon juice.
Will keep, covered and refrigerated, for up to 2 weeks
