Ingredients

 Butter/Margarine1 Tablespoon
 Flour1 Tablespoon
 Milk1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/4 pound process cheese, diced, or 1 /2 cup grated cheese
 2-3 tablespoons beer or ale, Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Melt butter or margarine in small saucepan, and add flour and milk.
Cook until smoothly thickened; then stir in cheese.
Heat until cheese melts, and stir in beer.
Season to taste.
Makes approximately 1 cup sauce.
