Ranch Style Bean Dip Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 Small, chopped | |
| 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded, finely chopped | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Kidney beans | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| Monterey jack cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Corn chips for dipping | ||
Directions
In a medium skillet, melt butter or margarine.
Add onion, jalapeno pepper and garlic; saute until tender.
In a medium bowl, use a fork to mash beans.
Stir into onion mixture.
Cook and stir over low heat until hot but not boiling.
Stir in cheese until melted; do not boil.
Spoon into a small fondue pot or small bowl on a hot tray.
