Ingredients

 
3/4 cup bulgur
 
5 tablespoons raisins
 
1/2 cup sliced scallions
 
1 tablespoon corn oil
 
6 tablespoons lightly packed chopped fresh parsley
 
1 tablespoon sesame oil
 
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
 
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice

Directions

Pour boiling water just to cover bulgur in large bowl.
Set aside for about 20 minutes, until water is absorbed and bulgur is tender.
Drain any excess water and squeeze out remaining water with hands.
Slice scallions; chop parsley; squeeze lemon juice.
Add to bulger with rest of ingredients and serve.
