Raisin Sauce For Ham Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup (125 mL) brown sugar
2 tbsp (30 mL) cornstarch
1 tsp (5 mL) dry mustard
2 tbsp (30 mL) cider vinegar
2 tbsp (30 mL) lemon juice
Grated rind of half a lemon
1 1/2 cups (375 mL) water
1/3 cup (80 mL) seedless raisins
1 tbsp (15 mL) butter
Directions
Combine all the ingredients together in a 4-cup (1 L) microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave, uncovered, 4 minutes at HIGH, stirring twice during the cooking.
If necessary, continue to cook 1 minute at a time until the sauce is light and creamy.
