Raisin Pie Recipe

| 1 recipe Plain Pastry | ||
Directions
In saucepan combine, cornstarch, sugar, and salt, stir in water, and bring to a boil.
Add butter, juice, rind, and raisins blend.
Cool.
Line shallow piepan with Plain Pastry, add filling, and cover with top pastry.
Fasten edges well, slash, and bake in hot oven (425 F.) for 10 minutes.
Reduce to moderate (375 F.) and bake 30 minutes
