Raisin Walnut Stuffing Recipe
Ingredients
| Seedless raisins | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Celery | 2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Onion | 1 Large, chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 envelope instant chicken broth or 1 teaspoon granulated chicken bouillon | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1 teaspoon powdered sage | ||
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| White bread slices | 8 Cup (16 tbs), cubed | |
| Walnuts | 2 Cup (16 tbs), coarsely chopped | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Take a small saucepan, heat raisins in it with water for 1 minute.
2.Once done, keep aside.
MAKING
3.Take a large skillet, heat butter or margarine in it.
4.Add onion and celery to it and saute until tender.
5.Add chicken broth, salt, sage and pepper in the skiller.
6.Take a large bowl, put bread cubes and walnuts in it.
7.Put the onion mixture on it.
8.Drizzle the raisin mixture and mix gently.
SERVING
9.Use the stuffing as desired.
