Raisin Cookies Recipe
Raisin Cookies tastes great. Raisin Cookies can be prepared very easily. Raisin Cookies tastes better with vanilla extract
Ingredients
1 cup water
1 cup raisins
4 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup oil
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat oven to 220 °F (425 °C).
Butter 2 cookie sheets.
Set aside.
In a saucepan, bring to a boil water and raisins.
In a bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Set aside.
In a second bowl, whip oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract 2 minutes.
Gradually fold in first 2 mixtures.
Avoid over mixing.
Spoon dough on cookie sheets, using 2 tbsp (30 mL) dough for each cookie.
Bake on top oven rack 10 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Let cool.
