Raisin Bread Recipe
Ingredients
| 2% Cups Sifted Flour | ||
| 31/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder 1/4 Cup Sugar | ||
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Margarine | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), melted | |
| 2 Teaspoons Grated Orange Peel 2 Eggs | ||
| 1 1/4 Cups Evaporated Skim Milk | ||
| Raisins | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
2. Sift dry ingredients.
3. Mix margarine, orange peel, eggs, and milk. Add to dry ingredients. Mix until well blended; stir in raisins.
4. Pour into 9- X 5-inch loaf pan which has been sprayed with vegetable pan spray. Bake 1 1/4 hours.
5. Remove from pan. Store 12 hours in a cool place before slicing.
