Radish Tomato Chutney Recipe
Ingredients
| Radish | 1/2 Kilogram | |
| Tomatoes | 1/2 Kilogram | |
| Ginger | 1 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Garlic | 1 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Raisins | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cumin seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Red chillies | 8 | |
| Salt | To Taste |
Directions
1. Wash and grate the radish using a thick grater. Wash and chop the tomatoes. Put them into a thick-bottomed pan.
2. Break the chillies into small pieces, and add to the pan along with the minced ginger and garlic, cumin seeds and salt. Simmer this mixture on a low fire until dry, stirring all the while.
3. Now add the vinegar, sugar and raisins, and boil further until it reaches a chutney consistency. Remove from fire, cool thoroughly and bottle.
