Rabbit With Sage Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 2-lb. young rabbits, cut into serving pieces | ||
| MARINADE | ||
| Olive oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dry white wine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sage | 2 Tablespoon, finely chopped | |
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Coarsely ground black pepper | ||
Directions
Place rabbit pieces in a glass or ceramic dish.
Mix together marinade ingredients.
Pour marinade over rabbit and refrigerate overnight, turning once.
Remove rabbit pieces and brush with marinade.
Place them in a hinged wire basket fairly close to hot coals to sear meat.
Raise grill and cook slowly, basting frequently with marinade and turning often, for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until rabbit is well done.
