 2 tablespoons butter, margarine, or bacon fat
 Onions2 Large, sliced
 Stewed tomatoes1 16 Ounce, undrained
 Red kidney beans1 17 Ounce, undrained
 Cubed cooked leftover meat, sliced frankfurters, or canned corned beef, cut up
 Caraway seeds1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

1. In butter, in Dutch oven, saute onions until golden. Add stewed tomatoes and kidney beans.
2. Then, using one of empty cans as a measure, fill it with meat. Add to bean mixture with caraway seeds. Simmer, covered, 15 minutes.
3. Serve with slices of French bread.
