Quick Wheat Germ Meat Loaves Recipe
Ingredients
| Carrots | 1 Cup (16 tbs), shredded | |
| Dairy sour cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 cup soft whole wheat bread crumbs | ||
| Wheat germ | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ground beef | 1 pound | |
| Ground pork | 1 pound | |
Directions
In bowl combine shredded carrots, sour cream, bread crumbs, wheat germ, 1/2 teaspoons salt, and dash pepper.
Add ground beef and ground pork; mix well.
Pat mixture into 16 muffin cups.
Or, shape into eight 4x2-inch loaves; place in shallow baking pan.
Bake loaves in 350° oven. (allow 20 minutes for muffin pan loaves; 35 minutes for small oblong loaves)
