Quick Vegetable-Beef Soup Recipe

Ingredients
| Ground chuck | 1/2 pound | |
| Green pepper | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1 (14 1/2-ounce) con stewed tomatoes, undrained | ||
| Frozen mixed vegetables | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dried basil | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Ground pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Combine ground chuck, green pepper, and chopped onion in a 2-quart casserole; cover with heavy-duty plastic wrap, and microwave or HIGH for 4 minures or until meat is no longer pink, stirring afrer 2 minutes.
Drain well in a colander, and pat dry wirh paper towels.
Wipe casserole dry with a paper towel.
Return drained meat mixture to casserole.
Add remaining ingredients to meat mixture.
Cover and microwave or HIGH for 9 ro 10 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes.
Ladle into individual serving bowls, serve hot.
