Ingredients

 
1/2 10 ounce package frozen peas and onions (about 1 cup)
 
1/3 cup biascut celery slices
 
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
 
1 tablespoon soy sauce
 
1 teaspoon cornstarch
 
1 cup cooked rice
 
1 6 1/2 or 7ounce can tuna drained
 
1/2 5-ounce can water chestnuts thinly sliced

Directions

Combine peas and onions, celery, butter, and 1/2 cup water; heat to boiling.
Cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes or till vegetables are just tender.
Combine soy sauce and cornstarch; add to vegetables; cook and stir till thick and bubbly.
Gently stir in remaining ingredients; heat through.
Pass extra soy sauce.
