Quick Shrimp With Dill Recipe
Ingredients
36 large shrimp
1/4 cup (one-half stick) butter
Tabasco to taste
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill or one half teaspoon dried dill weed
Juice of half a lemon
Directions
Shell and devein the shrimp and rinse them under cold running water.
Melt the butter in a skillet large enough to hold the shrimp and, when it is heated, add them.
Cook over moderate heat, turning the shrimp once, until they are pink, about three to five minutes.
Sprinkle the shrimp with tabasco, worcestershire, dill and lemon juice.
Stir well and serve hot as a luncheon dish with toast points or over rice.
