Quick Poppy Cheese Muffins Recipe
Easy to bake, these little poppy cheese muffins recipe packs in the flavor and lasting taste of cheddar cheese. The poppy seeds are a healthy addition to this cheese muffins recipe. If you love cheese, you will love these muffins!
Ingredients
21 1/2 cups all-purpose biscuit mix 625 mL
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 250 mL
1 tsp poppy seeds egg
1 cup milk
Directions
Ramekins or microwave muffin pan, paper-lined
In a large bowl, combine biscuit mix, cheese, poppyseeds, egg and milk; stir just to moisten.
Spoon batter into prepared ramekins or pan, filling cups two-thirds full.
If using ramekins, arrange them in a circle.
Bake on High for 2 1/2 minutes, rotating ramekins or pan halfway through cooking time.
HINT: An extra apple or two you don't need for baking? A baked apple takes 4 minutes in the microwave.
Fill the middle with ice cream and drizzle liqueur on top.
