Quick Oatmeal Muffins Recipe
Quick oatmeal muffins is a simple muffin recipe are made with quick cooking oats and milk. Easy to bake and serve, this muffin recipe can be made with a handful of ingredients. You can make it more delicious by adding nut or currants in and flavoring it up.
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour 250 mL
1/4 cup granulated sugar 50 mL
3 tsp baking powder 15 mL
1/2 tsp salt 2mL
1 cup quick-cooking oats 250 mL
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 cup milk 250 mL
3 tbsp vegetable oil
Directions
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, oats, egg, milk and oil.
Stir just until moist and blended.
Spoon batter into prepared muffin tin, filling cups three-quarters full.
Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
HINT: Olive oil will stay fresh longer if you add a cube of sugar to the bottle.
