Quick Oat Kolaches Recipe
This recipe of Quick Oat Kolaches was picked up by me from a gourmet magazine, I twisted it a little bit to meet my taste here I am, sharing my version with you. This Quick Oat Kolaches is never going to fail as a Side Dish. I am sure both of us will be in agreement that this Quick Oat Kolaches is very delectable.
Ingredients
1/3 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. prepared biscuit mix
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. milk
1 c. rolled oats
1 tsp. vanilla
8 tbsp. raspberry preserves
Confectioners' sugar
Directions
Cut butter into biscuit mix with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; stir in oats and sugar.
Combine egg, milk and vanilla; add to oat mixture.
Stir only until moistened.
Turn onto lightly floured board; knead lightly several times.
Roll out 1/2 inch thick; cut into 3-inch rounds with floured cookie cutter.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Make deep indentation in center of each round; fill with preserves.
Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes; sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
Serve warm.
