Ingredients

 
2 cups buttermilk baking mix 500 mL
 
1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats (not instant) 125 mL
 
1/2 cup raisins 125 mL
 
2 tbsp granulated sugar 25 mL
 
1 egg
 
2/3 cup milk 150 mL
 
Butter or margarine

Directions

In a large bowl, combine buttermilk mix, oats, raisins and sugar.
In another bowl, beat together egg and milk.
Pour into dry ingredients and stir until well blended.
Spoon batter into prepared muffin tin, filling cups three-quarters full.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
NOTE: These muffins are delicious served warm.
Split them and spread with butter or any other favorites.
