Quick Corn Sausage Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
1 pound bulk pork sausage
1 medium onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
2 17-ounce cans cream style corn
1 12-ounce package frozen loose pack hash brown potatoes
2/3 cup milk
1 cup shredded american cheese
Directions
In large saucepan cook sausage, onion, and green pepper till meat is browned and vegetables are tender.
Drain off fat.
Stir in corn, hash brown potatoes, milk, 3 cups water, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Bring to boiling.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 15 minutes or till potatoes are tender.
Add shredded cheese; heat and stir till cheese melts.
Serve immediately.
