Quick Chili Beef Recipe
Ingredients
| Lean ground beef | 1 Pound | |
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Green pepper | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Tomato juice | 1 Quart | |
| Water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Chili powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 4 cups thin noodles, uncooked | ||
| 1 can peas or beans, drained or 1 pkg. frozen peas or beans, cooked | ||
Directions
In a heavy 4 quart pan or Dutch oven, brown meat, onion and green pepper, stirring to break up meat.
Add tomato juice, water, salt and chili powder.
Bring to a boil.
Stir in noodles.
Bring to a boil again.
Cover and simmer 10 minutes until noodles are tender, stirring once.
Stir in peas or beans during last 2 minutes of cooking to heat through.
Serve immediately.
