Quick Chicken Soup Recipe
Ingredients
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can chicken broth, undiluted
1 cup water
1/2 cup diced carrot
1/4 cup diced celery
1/4 cup diced onion
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2 (5-ounce) cans chunk chicken
1 cup frozen English peas
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup uncooked instant rice
Directions
Combine broth, water, carrot, celery, onion, and garlic powder in a 3-quart casserole.
Cover and microwave at HIGH for 8 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes.
Add chicken, English peas, and pepper.
Cover and microwave at HIGH for 6 to 8 minutes.
Stir in uncooked instant rice, cover and microwave 2 to 3 minutes.
Cover and microwave at HIGH for 8 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes.
Add chicken, English peas, and pepper.
Cover and microwave at HIGH for 6 to 8 minutes.
Stir in uncooked instant rice, cover and microwave 2 to 3 minutes.
