2 cups frozen beef starter
 
1 15-ounce can tomato sauce
 
1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
 
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
 
1/2 teaspoon sugar
 
1/2 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
 
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
 
Hot cooked spaghetti

Directions

To thaw frozen beef starter, in 2-quart saucepan combine frozen meat mixture and 1/4 cup water.
Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes; break up meat mixture with fork.
Stir in tomato sauce, oregano, worcestershire, sugar, basil, garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Simmer, uncovered, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve over hot spaghetti.
If desired, pass grated parmesan cheese.
