Quick 'N Easy Golden Gate Chow Mein Recipe
Ingredients
| Onions spring | 1 Pound | |
| Coriander | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Coriander powder | 1 Medium, chopped (0.5 Cup) | |
| Cumin powder | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Monosodium glutamate | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Beef broth | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Canned sliced mushrooms | 3 Ounce (Drained Reserve 0.25 Cup Liquid) | |
| Chinese vegetables | 1 Pound (Drained) | |
| Brown gravy sauce | 2 Tablespoon (Molasses Type) | |
| Chow mein noodles | 3 Cup (48 tbs) |
Directions
Trim excess fat from meat.
Cut steak diagonally into very thin strips.
Lightly grease large skillet with excess fat; brown meat on both sides.
Stir in celery, onion, soy sauce, monosodium glutamate and broth.
Cover; simmer 30 minutes.
Blend cornstarch and reserved mushroom liquid; gradually stir into meat mixture.
Add mushrooms, Chinese vegetables and brown gravy sauce.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
Serve over chow mein noodles.
