Quick Tuna Skillet Recipe
Ingredients
| Bias-cut celery slices- 1/3 cup | ||
| Crisco | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Frozen peas package | 1 | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Cooked rice | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tuna | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Water chestnuts | 1 Can (10oz) | |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a large skillet, heat the Crisco and add the celery to the hot oil.
2. Add the frozen peas to the pan and tip in the onions and water to the pan too. Cook this together and simmer for 8-10 minutes till done.
3. In a small bowl, combine the soy and the cornstarch to make a thick sauce. Add this sauce to the vegetables and cook till the sauce becomes thick and bubbly.
4. Gently add the rest of the ingredients and heat through.
SERVING
5. Sprinkle extra soy on top and serve hot
