Quick Tomato Sauce With Marsala Recipe
Ingredients
| Peeled plum tomatoes | 2 Cup (16 tbs), canned | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 small onions, chopped fine | ||
| 1 clove garlic, chopped fine | ||
| 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled salt | ||

| Marsala wine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dried oregano | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
1. Put the tomatoes through a food mill. Do not use a blender. A food mill will puree the pulp and get rid of the seeds; a blender chops the seeds along with the tomatoes.
2. In a large skillet or medium saucepan, melt the butter and cook the onions until soft. Add the garlic, tomato puree, and crumbled bacon. Then add salt and pepper to taste. Boil this sauce hard for 3 minutes.
3. Add the marsala and oregano, and cook for another 5 minutes.
