Quick Succotash Recipe
Ingredients
| Lima beans package | 1 , frozen | |
| Boiling water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Onion flakes | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Whole kernel corn package | 1 , frozen | |
| Paprika | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Heavy cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
MAKING
(1) In a saucepan, combine limas, water, salt, butter, and onion flakes
(2) Cover the pan and place on a medium-low flame.
(3) Allow beans to simmer for 8-10 minutes.
(4) Tip in the corn, re-cover pan and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lima beans are tender.
(5) Add remaining ingredients and stir well.
(6) Bring to a boil, uncovered for 1-2 minutes
SERVING
(7) Ladle into soup bowls and serve hot.
