Quick Sally Lunn Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups flour
3 eggs, well beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 stick butter mixed with 1 tablespoon lard
1 cup milk
3 teaspoons baking powder
Directions
Cream butter and sugar well, add well-beaten eggs and milk.
Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
Add to egg mixture.
Beat until thoroughly mixed.
Pour into Sally Lunn pan and bake in a slow oven (250 degrees) for about 30 to 35 minutes.
